Trek Pictures

Phew! We made it! Trek is over! If you would like a copy of all the 1,500+ pictures taken, please bring us 2 blank DVD's so we can make a copy for you!

Due Dates to Remember!

Please, please do not procrastinate your trek preparation. These due dates are to ensure that we have everything in order, and are able to make the most out of our Pioneer Trek! Please be mindful of these due dates and help us stay on track! We jump for joy when things get done early! :)

All Trek Fees are past due and should be turned in ASAP.
Please see a member of the Bishopric for help with Fees.

PIONEER NAMES: All Pioneer names should already be turned in to either Tina Bledsoe or Christina Arnold. If you have not turned in a name by Sunday, May 29th, one will be assigned to you.

LAST CHANCE: If you have not registered or paid your Trek Fees by Tuesday, May 31st, you will miss out on all the trek fun! We don’t want to leave anyone behind, so please make sure you have turned in everything by the end of May. NO EXCEPTIONS.

LETTERS: If you have a child, parent, sister, brother, or spouse coming on the trek- we are inviting you to write them a letter with your testimony, sharing why you think it is important to “Live Like You Believe”. Please put your letter in a sealed envelope with the recipient’s name on the front and turn it in to Natalie Smith. We do not want ANYONE left out! Letters are due Sunday, June 12th.

BUCKETS: Each person needs to have their own 5 gallon bucket to put all of their personal belongings in. This bucket will also be your “chair”. Wednesday, June 22nd at 7pm we will be putting some cushion on the lids- please have your bucket and lid by then. All trekkers are invited!

***MANDATORY MEETING*** We are asking that ALL trek participants and their parents come to an informational meeting on Sunday, June 26th at 7pm. Please mark your calendars now and plan to attend with any questions you may have. You do not want to miss this.

Personal Equipment: Please continue to work on your pioneer clothes and trek supplies! There is a very specific list on the back of this that needs to be followed. Everyone will be allowed one sleeping bag, pillow, and a 5 gallon bucket with all your personal equipment in it. In addition, you will be allowed to bring treats to share for the bus ride- but we ask that you leave the treats on the bus once at Martin’s Cove.

Pioneer Clothing

We will be having a sewing day this Saturday at my house from 10am-1pm to help you with your Pioneer clothes! Stop in if you have any questions about Pioneer clothing, or if you need help sewing or adjusting your clothing. We will have a few sewing machines set up, but if you have one and plan on sewing, please bring it with you! If you will be needing any of the patterns for bonnets or skirts, please let Megan Kotter or Stephanie Hammer know ahead of time. Feel free to bring any youth that need help also! Don't wait till the last minute to get your clothing together! We look forward to seeing you there!
