Spiritual Preparation

Here are some movies recommendations for you to watch as a family before you go on Trek.  If you are able to watch one a month starting in January you will have watched all six before you leave on Trek.  These movies will allow you to understand how the Pioneers and Saints Lived Like They Believed and teach us how we can do it as well.

The following are on the Preparation Calendar on the front page and each piece will be done every month to lead up to the trek.  Doing these tasks will allow the spirit at Martins Cove to touch your heart and speak to your mind.

January

Read Scriptures and write in your journal.

Sing or Read the hymn "Count  your blessings"
Write 25 things you are grateful for.

February

Read Scriptures and write in your journal.

Teach a lesson about Pioneers for Family Home Evening.

March

Read Scriptures and write in your journal.

Visit the Temple Grounds in your Sunday clothes.

April

Read Scriptures and write in your journal.

Watch the movie "Legacy" and talk about pioneer heritage.

May

Read Scriptures and write in your journal.

Build faith and testimony by reading the New Era.  Look for ways people are living like they believe!

June

Read Scriptures and write in your journal.

Share your testimony of the Gospel.
