Nampa 34th Ward Pioneer Trek July 6-9, 2011
Martins Cove, Wyoming

Pioneer Trek Fees

We have had tremendous results with our trek registration and are excited that we will be having 50 youth and 40 adults coming on the Pioneer Trek in July! This is the attendance record that we were hoping for. For some of you, this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity—one that you will not easily forget! The most challenging part of doing this Pioneer Trek is the fees that are involved, because there is no way around them. But, please do not let the fees of the trek stop you from coming! We will work with you to ensure that everyone who wants to, will be able to come on the trek. Please see a member of the Bishopric for assistance with fees or due dates. With that being said, the trek fees are as follows:

ADULTS: $150—due Sunday, March 13th
YOUTH: $50—due Sunday, May 15th

What does the money go towards?
1—Transportation. We will be taking nice charter buses to and from Martin’s Cove for the 11 hour drive.
2—Martin’s Cove Fees. There is a $15 fee per person for the upkeep of the Martin’s Cove land and supplies.
3—Food. Although the Pioneers went hungry many times while trekking to Zion, you will not! You will be very well fed (both physically and spiritually!).

How do I pay?
Please fill out a tithing slip and next to “other” please write “Pioneer Trek” with all checks made out to the Nampa 34th Ward. We will be able to keep track of who has paid, but be sure to keep the yellow copy for your records.

Is there a fundraiser?
YES!! We will be having a fundraiser in April with hopes of raising the rest of the money we need. Even if you are not coming on the trek, we would love your support! Please plan to attend—more information to come!
